    Product Usage:
Aerial insulated wire is a wire with a single or multiple layers of aluminum stranded wire twisted on top of which an insulation layer is extruded.
The so-called overhead line is relative to the cable, which refers to a line where the conductors are erected by towers at a certain height to transmit electrical energy. For high-voltage power transmission and distribution network overhead lines, the ground insulation is generally relying on air. Previously, bare conductors were also commonly used for distribution lines (except for 380V below 10kV). However, due to the complex distribution environment in urban areas, short circuit grounding and lightning strikes often occur on the lines, resulting in a decrease in power supply reliability. Therefore, currently, insulated conductors (i.e. insulated layers wrapped around the outer layer of the conductors) are generally used for overhead lines below 10kV, which is known as insulated overhead lines.

Steel core aluminum stranded wire is a reinforced conductor made by twisting single-layer or multi-layer aluminum strands outside galvanized steel core wire.
Steel core aluminum stranded wire is made by twisting aluminum wire and steel wire, suitable for overhead transmission lines. It has a steel core inside and aluminum wires wrapped around the steel core through twisting on the outside; The steel core mainly serves to increase strength, while the aluminum stranded wire mainly serves to transmit electrical energy.
Steel core aluminum stranded wire has the characteristics of simple structure, easy installation and maintenance, low line cost, large transmission capacity, and is conducive to laying under special geographical conditions such as crossing rivers and valleys. It also has good conductivity and sufficient mechanical strength, high tensile strength, and can be enlarged for tower distance. Therefore, it is widely used in various voltage levels of overhead transmission and distribution lines.
