    Product Description
The characteristics and types of wind power cables
    1. Characteristics of operating environment for wind power cables:
Wind power cables operate outdoors for a long time, are laid vertically in suspension, frequently twist (automatically yaw to wind), come into contact with oil pollution (partially), and suffer from seawater corrosion (in special environments).
    2. Requirements for wind power cables:
Wind energy cables require high mechanical strength, resistance to torsion (flexibility), vibration, and oil resistance. Additionally, cables used in cold regions must be resistant to low temperatures (-40 ℃).
    3. Wind energy cable structure and materials
Based on the above characteristics, wind power cables are mostly rubber cables (at least used in wind turbines and upper level tower drums), with conductors of Class 5 or 6, EPR or silicone rubber insulation, chloroprene rubber, CPE or TPU, and other materials that can be used together
    4. Application scenarios of wind power cables
Inside the engine room, between the engine room and the upper part of the tower, and from the lower part of the tower to the bottom of the tower box transformer.
    5. Types of wind power cables
Used in the cabin: soft wires, control cables, data cables, drag chain cables (used to form circuits for rotors), etc.
Inside the tower: wiring (lighting) and power cables (fixed installation and twisting)
    6. The number of wind power cables used in wind turbines
Taking a 1.25MW wind turbine as an example (in the tower and cabin), the tower height is generally around 90 meters. Therefore, the number of cables required is calculated as approximately 1km based on length. For a wind farm of 50000 kW, a 40km force cable is required.
    Product Usage:
Suitable for turbines in wind power generation equipment and fixed installation inside towers or other similar occasions. Cables that are compatible with wind power plants. Can be used in wind power generation equipment in onshore and offshore wind farms.
